EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard für Mac

I needed to recover accidentally deleted video files off an SD card (nothing had even been written to the card afterward, no read errors, it should have been a relatively easy recovery!). After spending hours in scans trying the top 3-4 disk recovery apps on MacUpdate (I've purchased a number of them over the years!), all of them had failed miserably. Files names were recovered, but filled with blank data...or random garbage video files were created that had no relation to the original footage at all. I eventually found EaseUS listed elsewhere online. Within a few minutes, the free demo had recovered fully playable files. Both audio and video streams, everything was perfect. No issues. Of course this doesn't mean it'll work in your situation; it may not work in any other situations at all. I don't know. But in this one case, it flawlessly resurrected files I thought were gone forever.

The free download can recover some file names, and files without names, but you can't save. After you purchase and can save, these files are actually just garbage. Less than worthless to me since I spent over four days trying to use it.

I bought this app after I had accidentally erased a 2TB disk of videos with Mac Disk Utility, and had immediately sat the disk aside to attempt recovery. I spent four days trying to recover at least some of the 1700+ movies. I was able to recover 110 names and a lot of garbage. Each attempt at recovery took over 24 hours, but got no file that would play. I asked for my money back since it was absolutely worthless, and several days later got a comment saying 'they felt I had damaged my disk'. I got no money back.
